Sales & Marketing
The sales team are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with professional intermediaries including (amongst others):
- – Institutions such as pension funds.
- – Stockbrokers and wealth managers.
- – Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs).
- – Fund supermarkets such as Hargreaves Lansdown. • The sales team have close relationships with the investment teams who manage the Marlborough range of funds, partly because they are often involved in intermediary meetings and conference calls alongside these teams. • The sales team are not responsible for distributing to, or dealing with, private clients.
The marketing team seeks to create and update quality marketing material for use by both Private and Professional investors. Examples of literature produced include fund fact sheets, manager commentaries, Key Investor Information Documents (KIIDs) and application forms. We aim to proactively promote our funds via website, e-newsletters and fund-specific analysis and presentations (Professional investors only). The team is operationally responsible for maintaining relationships with the investment platforms and data vendors, and for delivering sales support and analysis to our onshore and offshore sales teams.
