Stacey Ash

Stacey has over 20 years' experience in the financial services industry. He has worked both on the fund management and marketing side of the business and holds the Securities Institute Securities and Derivatives Certificates as well as the Investment Management Certificate. He has been a director of Aberdeen Unit Trust Management and more recently a director of IG Index, where he was a participant in its management buyout. Stacey Joined iFunds in 2004. He heads up the marketing side of the business and maintains his involvement in the investment management process.

Nigel Baynes

Nigel started his career in the industry as a software specialist developing portfolio management solutions for an asset management company. He worked as an investment analyst and then fund manager before setting up iFunds in 2001. With the growth in the ETF market, and ongoing development of the company's proprietary software based investment process, iFunds was able to team up with Marlborough and launch a range of actively managed ETF funds.

Nigel Beidas

Nigel has more than 30 years' experience in the world of investment, rising from research analyst to Head of UK Equities for a Canadian insurance company, with responsibility for a team managing more than £2 billion. In 2009 Nigel was appointed Manager of the Marlborough Extra Income Fund, which he jointly runs with Matthew Rainbird.

Siddarth Chand Lall

Sid is a graduate of Edinburgh University with 13 years' experience on the buy-side. He was previously a specialist in Pan European (including UK) small and mid cap equities at DSP. Sid joined the team in 2007 to work on the Marlborough funds and has managed the Marlborough Multi Cap Income Fund since launch in July 2011.

Nicholas Cooling

Nicholas joined the asset management company that went on to become Marlborough Investment Management as a fund manager in 1991. He was responsible for a total reorganisation of its investment processes, leading to significant expansion of the business. Nicholas is Deputy Chairman of Marlborough Fund Managers and Investment Director of Marlborough Investment Management.

Guy Feld

Guy, a graduate of Oxford University, has over 20 years' City experience dedicated to the research and fund management of small and mid-cap equities. He joined the investment team in 2003 and has a particular focus on the tech sector and other "New Economy" and growth companies. Guy co-manages the Marlborough UK Micro-Cap Growth Fund with Giles Hargreave.

Brad Gardner

Brad is a highly experienced investment professional, whose career includes senior roles at Boston Financial Management and Emerson Investment Management. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society. He is a graduate of Lafayette College and completed Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development.

Richard Hallett

Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young in 1994 and subsequently joined Singer & Friedlander in 1995 as a UK Equity fund manager. Since joining the investment team in 2005, Richard has established a strong and consistent track record as manager of the Marlborough UK Multi-Cap Growth Fund.

Giles Hargreave

Giles Hargreave is Chairman of Hargreave Hale Ltd. After starting his career in 1969 as an analyst with James Capel, Giles joined Management Agency and Music as a private fund manager in 1974 before founding Hargreave Investment Management in 1986. Giles then merged Hargreave Investment Management with Hargreave Hale & Co, a provincial stockbroking firm controlled by other members of his family, in 1988 and took over as Chief Executive. Giles chairs the investment committee's weekly meetings in which the team reviews existing and potential investments.

Geoff Hitchin

Geoff spent nearly 20 years as a tax officer and tax consultant before founding Marlborough Fund Managers in 1986 and launching the Marlborough Global Bond Fund in the following year. He went on to set up the Marlborough Bond Income Fund in 1998.

Steven Logan

Steven has 25 years' credit market experience and has been managing European high yield portfolios for 15 years. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers

Sally Macdonald

Sally has been in financial services for over 30 years. She joined Marlborough in 2013 to manage the Marlborough Far East Growth Fund. Prior to joining, Sally worked for City of London Investment Management, was a Partner at Dalton Strategic partnership and led the Asian desk at Morley Fund Management, where she managed over £3.4bn in assets. She has also held positions as an Associate Director at Sanwa International, Head of Asia Pacific Equities at Lazard Brothers Asset Management and ran the Asian desk at Canada Life between November 1997 and 2004. During the period of her management at Canada Life, she ran the Canlife Far East Unit Trust and was nominated for the Lipper Citywire All Stars Asia ex Japan Fund Manager of the Year Award. Sally has a BA (Hons) in Classics and is an associate of the CFA Society of the UK and the CFA institute and a member of the Pensions Management Institute and CISI. Until August 2016, Sally was a Trustee of the Royal College of Nursing Foundation, where she Chaired the Investment Committee. Sally is currently a Trustee on the Board of Helping the Burmese Delta and is a Partner of Stevington Partners.

Rajesh Manon

Rajesh graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BA (Hons) in Financial Services and joined Marlborough's funds of funds team in 2003. His enthusiasm and drive enabled him to be fast-tracked to a fund management role within a year. Rajesh is a CFA level 3 candidate.

Ben Pakenham

Ben has more than 10 years' experience in high yield and has been part of the investment team since 2011.

Matthew Rainbird

Matthew has more than a decade's experience in the industry in roles including trading equities and fixed interest securities and managing private client portfolios. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. In 2009 Matthew was appointed Manager of the Marlborough Extra Income Fund, which he jointly runs with Nigel Beidas.

Eustace Santa Barbara

Eustace, a graduate of Harvard University, joined the investment team from Close Brothers in December 2013. He has worked as both an analyst and fund manager and has over 12 years’ experience on the buy-side. Eustace co-manages the Marlborough Special Situations Fund with Giles Hargreave.

Gurjit Soggi

Gurjit graduated from the University of the West of England with a BA (Hons) in Financial Services and joined the investment team at Marlborough in 1996. He works closely with Nicholas Cooling and has developed a pragmatic and research-driven investment style.

David Walton

David graduated with a First Class degree in economics from Cambridge University before joining M&G, where he was a European equities fund manager with responsibility for small/mid caps. In 2000 David joined Baillie Gifford, where he took on responsibility for the European small cap portfolios including the Baillie Gifford European Smaller Companies Fund, and delivered strong outperformance. David joined the investment team in January 2013 and has managed the Marlborough European Multi-Cap Fund since October 2013.

Brad Weafer

Brad's career encompasses roles as Chief Investment Officer at Boston Financial Management and as an investment manager and equity research analyst. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has a degree in Economics from the University of Vermont and a masters in Business from Babson College.
